Nate Hemphill is an assistant strength & conditioning coach at the University of California-Davis where he oversees the training protocols for Men’s Soccer, Field Hockey, Women's Lacrosse, Golf, Tennis, and Women's Water Polo while assisting with Football. Prior to joining UC Davis in 2011, he was a graduate assistant strength & conditioning coach at Seattle University from 2009-2011. A 2005 graduate in Exercise and Movement Science from Missouri State University (MO), Nate worked with numerous sports at MSU as well as working with the St. Louis Cardinals in their Minor League affiliates (Rookie, AA). Nate is currently a certified CSCS from the NSCA. He is working to finish his Master’s Degree in Sports Administration and Leadership from Seattle University.

Ten years into Edington's new venture, a parent of one of her gymnastic students asked if she'd ever heard of CrossFit Kids. She hadn't. The woman referred her to Mitch Potterf, the owner of Fit Club CrossFit gym, and encouraged Edington to check it out, as the CrossFit Kids programming was similar to Edington's Tumblin4Kids classes. So, competitors Potterf and Edington struck a deal: If Edington went to a CrossFit class, Potterf would attend a gymnastics class. And so began Edington's ride on the "crazy CrossFit train," as she calls it.

This education of proper form and technique will be offered through a mandatory On-Ramp Program. This program will be 9 sessions long, held 3 days a week for the first 3 weeks of membership. Each 1 hour session will focus on proper form and technique in warming up, cooling down and the workout itself. There are 9 CrossFit foundational movements that each athlete must learn and prove competency in before moving on to the class environment. Each client will have to successfully finish the On-Ramp Program or in the case of a seasoned CrossFitter, they have the option to test out.

We have a diverse group of members ranging from people with strokes, Cerebral Palsy, and morbid obesity, to SWAT team members, Competitive CrossFit athletes, and top high school athletes.
